CROFTON SEA KAYAKING TOURS 

Come and discover the beauty of Osbourne Bay and Upper Samsun Narrows in the quaint working town of Crofton.

Not only is Crofton a growing town, but it also attracts a plethora of seals, resident sea lions, shorebirds, eagles,  sand dollar and oyster beds all amongst mossy bluffs, overhanging arbutus trees and tiny sea caves. We have even spotted transient orcas making their way through the nutrient-rich waters.

Also, Crofton is a unique experience as there are few places where nature and industry combine to thrill sea lovers! Amongst towering barges and ships there frequently pops up curious seals. And while the echoes of industry travel across the water it will be

punctuated by the barking of sea lions, keeping a wary eye on trespassers.

A short paddle past Sherard Point and you are transported to a narrow channel dwarfed by Mt. Maxwell and Maple Mt. covered in second growth forest and sensitive eco-systems of mossy bluff and meadow. The bluffs attract hawks and eagles and they are often seen watching from wind-stunted trees.
